Bill Cosby sentenced to three to 10 years for sexual assault

(VNO) — Disgraced celebrity and comedian Bill Cosby was sentenced to three to 10 years this afternoon in a Montgomery County, Pennsylvania courtroom.
Eighty-one year-old William H. ‘Bill’ Cosby, Jr., was convicted earlier this week of drugging and raping a woman in his home back in 2004. Although Cosby was only charged with one count of sexual assault, 60 women in total came forward to accuse the actor of sexual misconduct.
He was also ordered to pay a find of $25,000.
It’s been a long journey to get here, and today, justice was served”, said Montgomery County District Attorney Kevin Steele. “It’s been a long time coming”.
Cosby was immediately remanded into custody and taken away by court officers to be processed into jail.
