Searchers urgently needed in northeast Arkansas

(LEACHVILLE, ARKANSAS) — Volunteers are needed for an upcoming series of weekend searches in the northeastern tip of Arkansas, in the effort to find a 43-year-old man missing since July.
John ‘Brent’ McGhee, known to his loved ones as ‘Brent’, disappeared on the afternoon of Thursday, July 11th, 2024, from a residence in Leachville, Arkansas. Leachville is a small, rural town of less than 2,000 people, approximately 40 miles northeast of Jonesboro, bordering on the southern tip of Missouri.
“We need searchers, and we need them immediately”, Chief Michael Hodges of the Arkansas-based Special Tactics Aid and Rescue (or STAR), told Victims News Online via phone earlier today. “Several recent searches have turned up key items that could connect to this case, and we need to locate the rest of those items before they disappear in order to get answers for Brent’s family”.
Searches will be conducted this weekend, on both Saturday and Sunday. Searchers over the age of 18 who are willing to volunteer their time to find McGhee are asked to contact STAR at (501) 777-5368, or via the non-profit group’s Facebook page. Anyone over the age of 18 with a photo ID is welcome to volunteer, but anyone with experience in grid or military-style searching is encouraged to participate.
John ‘Brent’ McGhee is 43 years old, is 6’4″, weighing approximately 175-220 pounds, with brown hair and hazel eyes. He has several tattoos: “Loyalty” tattooed on chest along with additional unknown chest tattoo. “B” tattooed on upper left bicep (outer), large “Carpe Diem” tattoo on left forearm, Punisher Skull tattoo (colored as American flag) on backside of left forearm. Unknown tattoo on left hand. Hourglass tattoo on right forearm. Tattoo on outer left calf — variation of a fire/flaming tattoo.
He was last seen wearing a light blue t-shirt, khaki-colored cargo shorts, and ‘HeyDude’ shoes.
