Private Investigator Jason Jensen, known for his work on the JonBenet Ramsey case, has opened a satellite office in northwest Indiana.

(MICHIGAN CITY, INDIANA) — When veteran private investigator Jason Jensen made one of his usual appearances on Court TV network in June 2021, he didn’t expect to meet his newest business partner on the air.

As luck (or destiny) would have it, that’s exactly what occurred.

Jensen was working that night alongside another PI, Erica Morse, who had recently joined the Court TV panel after her role in the arrest of accused child killer Shawn Casey Adkins. Morse, along with her team of advocates and reporters, aided the father of murdered Texas cheerleader Hailey Dunn in finding new forensic testing in his daughter’s cold case, leading to a 2021 arrest for felony murder and evidence tampering.

When the two got off the air, Jensen called Morse, and asked if she would be interested in working together: a YouTube channel, perhaps, or a collaboration on missing and murdered cases, combining their expertise to help families find answers through his Cold Case program and Victims News Online.

Morse was immediately interested, and told Jensen it was her dream to run both VNO and be part of a PI firm specializing in missing and murdered persons.

After a four-month vetting process by the Indiana Private Security Board, Jensen Investigations received approval on June 22nd, 2023, as a full-service private investigation firm in the Hoosier state. Rounding out the new team is longtime VNO partner and Founder of Moms on a Mission, Christine Salzer. Jensen, Morse and Salzer are now IN PI’s offering a full-service agency based in Michigan City. The firm will handle everything from process serving, insurance fraud and cybercrime to corporate and criminal investigations, including missing and murdered persons. Morse and Salzer, both northwest Indiana natives, have already worked missing and murdered cases together as advocates and reporters, since 2012. Together, they are responsible for more than 40 successful family reunifications of missing or separated persons, and have participated in the arrests and convictions of four murder suspects and two child predators in Indiana, Texas, and North Carolina.

“Jensen Investigations has been in business for nearly 15 years, and I often wondered how, when and where I would expand”, Jason Jensen told Victims News Online. “Once I learned that my favorite co-guest analyst from Court TV was back in Indiana, I knew it was fate”.

“Erica is one of the most intelligent and ardent fighters for justice and a crusader for victims”, Jensen continued. “I know we are about to make a difference for the people of Indiana. We are extremely excited to be here and look forward to providing the residents of Indiana with premium investigative services”.
