Update: Northwest Indiana missing teen found ‘safe’

(MICHIGAN CITY, INDIANA) – The family of a teen missing 54 days is seeking help from the public to locate her.

Seventeen-year-old “K” disappeared on July 4th, 2023, from her home in Michigan City, Indiana. A missing person’s report was filed the following day with the Michigan City Police Department, who have classified her as a ‘runaway’.

She is 5’6″-5’7″ tall, weighing approximately 120-130 pounds. She has brown eyes and wears braces.

She is believed to be in the Michigan City area, and may be receiving help from adults who are harboring her.
