Two children stolen, their lives lost. No leads for nearly seven years. Then, one day, a man on no one’s radar is unexpectedly arrested, charged, and ultimately convicted of these heinous crimes.

There’s just one problem with that scenario: the man convicted is innocent, says a former investigator hired to defend him.

Richard Matthew Allen was a name no one associated with taking the lives of Abigail Williams and Liberty German in Delphi, Indiana, back in February of 2017; yet, somehow, the state of Indiana managed to convict him with virtually no evidence, except an unspent round that had to be fired more than a dozen times by the state’s lab examiner, until she made enough marks during her ‘test firing’ to call it a ‘match’ in her testimony.

‘The Delphi Dirt’ tackles these allegations — and more — in an explosive new podcast. Told by VNO’s Publisher and private investigator Erica Morse, ‘The Delphi Dirt’ has amassed more than 12,000 views in just its first five episodes. Morse, who alongside VNO team member Christine Salzer, was hired to work as a fact-finding investigator on Allen’s defense team in February 2023, has been the subject of police retaliation, a false arrest, and aggressive defamation, to keep her and Salzer from exposing what they know about Allen’s innocence.

Explosive allegations of police corruption, conflicts of interest within Allen’s defense team, and unchecked vital evidence are just a few of the reasons why ‘The Delphi Dirt’ has Richard Allen’s supporters thrilled and others infuriated. Morse has backed up years of lies with what she calls, ‘receipts’, including text messages, emails and social media communications between herself, Salzer, and other members of Rick Allen’s defense.

Tonight, the team from Victims News Online/Victims News On-Air will be LIVE beginning at 6 p.m. eastern/ 5p.m. central, to answer questions from the Delphi community about this case. A podcast now known for ‘dropping the receipts’, The Delphi Dirt is just getting started at throwing a wrench into the poorly executed effort by law enforcement and the state of Indiana to frame an innocent man (Allen) for these crimes.
